FAQ

  • What is The Loop?

The Loop is a free, local exchange for baby and toddler clothes. Think of it as a community closet: you share what your kids have outgrown, and pick up what they need next. No selling, fees, or waste.

  • Who Can Use The Loop?

Anyone caring for a child! Parents, guardians, grandparents, foster parents, aunties, neighbors. If you’ve got baby or toddler clothes in good shape, or if you need some, you’re welcome here.

  • Is Everything Really Free?

Yes. There are generations’ worth of clothing already made. And we believe access to quality kids’ clothing shouldn’t depend on income.

  • What Condition Should Clothes Be In?

We ask that all items are in good condition or better. This means no stains, rips, or major wear. If you wouldn’t give it to a friend, it’s not a fit for The Loop.

  • How Do Pickups Work?

Most exchanges happen via porch pickup. When you claim an item, you’ll get the pickup details from the person who posted it.

  • Do I Have to Give In Order to Take?

Nope! We encourage everyone to give and take over time, but you’re welcome to start however you need. The goal is to keep clothes circulating in the community.

  • Where is The Loop Available?

We’re starting in select neighborhoods and expanding by zip code. Join the waitlist to get notified when The Loop is live near you.

  • How Do I Join?

Sign up for the waitlist with your email and ZIP code on our home page. We’'ll let you know when you can start swapping!

Community Guidelines

To keep Loop welcoming and fair for everyone, please follow these simple rules:

1. Give quality: All clothes must be in good condition or better.

2. Be timely: If you claim something, pick it up within the agreed timeframe.

3. Respect boundaries: Follow porch pickup instructions and communicate if plans change.

4. Stay local: Keep exchanges within your community to reduce travel and waste.

5. Be kind: Remember there’s a real person on the other side of every swap.

Violations may result in removal from the community. We’re committed to The Loop remaining a trusted space.
