Delete your account

The Loop — Kids Clothing Swap

You can delete your Loop account and its data at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed.

In the app (fastest)

Open the profile menu (top-left avatar), tap the edit badge on your photo to open My Profile, then choose Delete Account.

Don't have the app installed?

You don't need to reinstall the app. Email support@itstheloop.com from the email address on the account with the subject "Delete my account", and we will schedule the deletion for you. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

What happens next

Your account is hidden from other users immediately and you are signed out everywhere. You can restore your account by logging back in within 30 days; otherwise it is permanently deleted within 45 days of your request. We email you a confirmation when deletion is scheduled, and again if the account is restored.

During the 30-day window your username and email address remain reserved and cannot be used to create a new account. Messages you already exchanged remain visible to the other participant, attributed to "Deleted User" instead of your profile.
